Claudia Ribeiro is a product engineer. She works upstream of the ticket — in the requirements, the design reviews and the QA — as much as in the code, and spent four years at Dune (2022–2026) doing exactly that: leading the frontend on a company-wide rebrand she took from font files through phased rollout across app and marketing, and on Metrics, built through to its reveal on stage at DuneCon 2024 in Bangkok. She also shipped AI into the SQL query editor as an accept/reject diff view, and rebuilt the plan upgrade flow until conversion went from 1.79% to 3.82%.
Before Dune she wrote Ruby and Go APIs at Credit Kudos, through its Series A and on to its acquisition by Apple, built internal Python tooling at Visa, and spent a year self-employed on React and Rails client work. She works in React, TypeScript and Next.js, and open-sourced Dune's chart colour palettes, which she still maintains.
This site, claudia.world, holds the work: a Dune portfolio with projects, outcomes and feedback from colleagues, a work history, and a gallery of travel photographs shot on disposable cameras. Every page is also served as Markdown to agents that ask for it.
